Presenting complex information simply

The ask.

Simplify the user journey, remove the need for duplicate information and make an intuitive navigation system.

The approach.

With a diverse audience of athletes, parents and health professionals, the key aspect to this project was creating a site map to allow users to find information quickly. With the existing site having a total of 302 pages, there was no wonder they were having issues with duplicate content appearing and being difficult to maintain. Through simplifying the page structures and utilising Silverstripe content blocks, we were able to reduce the page count and complexity without losing key information. The content blocks provide the site content authors the ability to piece predefined modules together like 'Lego', meaning they have creative freedom in content – but don't have to worry about breaking brand usage guidelines.
